class=\"events-content-desc\"><p>\u201cSTAVENTO\u201d was formed in 2004 by Michalis Kouinelis (METHYSOS) and Vangelis Georgatzis (EVO). The term \u201cSTAVENTO,\u201d which in sailors\u2019 language means \u201cshelter,\u201d reflects their aim to seamlessly unite various musical genres and break down musical labels, marking their first step into the music industry. Staying away from personal identification and individual ambitions, they remain focused on their sole goal: creating music and lyrics. Maintaining a stable \u201ccore\u201d and involving new artists in their musical development is a key element\u2014and a prerequisite\u2014of their musical identity.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li  data-date=\"01\/02\/2005\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>2005<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"events-content-desc\"><p>In 2005, they released their first personal album titled \u201cThe Sweetest Intoxication\u201d and made a splash with their rendition of Kostas Tournas\u2019 classic song \u201cOmorfi,\u201d which stood out. The success of \u201cOmorfi\u201d was followed by the title track \u201cThe Sweetest Intoxication,\u201d making them widely accepted by the public. In 2006, they released the album \u201cGrifos,\u201d collaborating with prominent names from the Greek music scene. Rodes, Kostas Tournas, and Alexandros Chatzis are some of the artists participating in their unpredictable musical collective, while songs such as \u201cPoso Akoma\u201d and \u201cKalos Se Vrika\u201d immediately stand out. Keeping their promises to loyal fans who have followed them since their first record, as well as to those who have just joined their circle, \u201cSTAVENTO\u201d recently unveiled their hidden card.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li  data-date=\"01\/01\/2008\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>2008<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"events-content-desc\"><p>In March 2008, they released their third album, titled \u201cToday I Celebrate.\u201d From this release, the song \u201cMesa Sou\u201d immediately stood out\u2014a track that shifted their musical direction and went on to become the biggest hit of that year. Elena Paparizou\u2019s cover of the song for the MAD Music Awards, along with their joint stage appearance, marked a historic collaboration. From this album, which quickly went gold, other notable songs also emerged, such as \u201cPrin Se Gnoriso,\u201d \u201cSimera To Giortazo,\u201d \u201cVatrachi,\u201d and more. \u201cStirring Up the World,\u201d in December 2008, they released, in collaboration with a well-known electronics retailer and Sony BMG, a Special Edition USB stick featuring a new hit song.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li  data-date=\"01\/01\/2009\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>2009<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"events-content-desc\"><p>\u201cSTAVENTO\u201d return with \u201cSton Kosmo Mas\u201d (\u201cIn Our World\u201d). The new song is included in the deluxe repackaging of the album \u201cSimera To Giortazo,\u201d titled \u201cRESTARTED.\u201d \u201cRESTARTED\u201d features several collaborations with both new and previous partners: Elena Paparizou, Lakis Papadopoulos, Natasa Theodoridou, Giorgos Sabanis, and C:REAL. The release also includes a DVD with the latest music videos as well as a surprise documentary tribute. The album went gold.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li  data-date=\"01\/01\/2010\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>2010<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"events-content-desc\"><p>In April 2010, they released \u201cMia Fora Ki Enan Kairo\u201d (\u201cOnce Upon a Time\u201d)\u2026 featuring 18 songs along with many surprises and collaborations. Kostas Chatzis tells \u201cMia Fora Ki Enan Kairo\u201d with his distinctive voice, Christos Dantis recalls the \u201cFirst Time\u201d moments that mark us, Ivi Adamou appears on \u201cSan Erthi I Mera,\u201d and Smaragda Karydi on \u201cMia Gynaika Ola Ta Mporei\u201d from the film \u201cI Klironomos.\u201d The album also included several songs that made a significant impact online, such as \u201cChronia,\u201d \u201cSe Sena Kataligo,\u201d and \u201cPolitikantides.\u201d \u201cSan Erthi I Mera\u201d became one of the biggest hits of the year, garnering millions of views on YouTube and thousands of sales, while the album\u2019s second single, \u201cAma Se Eicha Konta Mou,\u201d followed a similar successful path. (In January 2011, the album went platinum.)\n\nIn December 2010, \u201cSTAVENTO\u201d realized one of their biggest dreams. At the 10th Mad Secret Concert, they performed their songs accompanied by the 40-member philharmonic orchestra FOUX ORKESTAR, and were joined in the X-MAS HIP HOPERA by Rallia Christidou, Tamta, and PRO SINNERZ. This unique concert was later released on CD as well as in numbered vinyl editions.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li  data-date=\"01\/01\/2011\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>2011<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"events-content-desc\"><p>In 2011, \u201cSTAVENTO\u201d came forward to present a new song that represents all of us, at a time when we needed more than ever to listen, sing, and dance to \u201cTha Ta Katafero\u201d (\u201cI Will Make It\u201d).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li  data-date=\"01\/01\/2012\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>2012<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"events-content-desc\"><p>In 2012, \u201cSTAVENTO\u201d continued to surprise us with their musical collaborations. They released a new single titled \u201cPid\u00e1o ta K\u00fdmata\u201d (\u201cI Jump the Waves\u201d) and a few months later performed a special rendition of it on the MAD Music Awards stage with the unique Paola Foka. This explosive collaboration would go on to exceed 10,000,000 views on YouTube. That summer, they released another single, \u201cAstrapsa kai Vrontixa\u201d (\u201cI Sparked and Thundered\u201d), which also achieved great success. The following year, \u201cSTAVENTO\u201d collaborated for the second time with Ivi Adamou on the song \u201cNa Sou Tragoudo\u201d (\u201cTo Sing to You\u201d), and a few months later, Dimos Anastasiadis also joined STAVENTO in the track \u201cVoutia sto Keno\u201d (\u201cDive into the Void\u201d).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t<li  data-date=\"01\/01\/2013\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>2013<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"events-content-desc\"><p>At the MAD Music Awards that same year, \u201cSTAVENTO\u201d made a surprise appearance with Lakis Papadopoulos and Onirama, performing a cover of the well-known song \u201cGorilaki.\u201d Later in 2013, they changed record labels and released their new album \u201cStin Akri Tou Kosmou\u201d (\u201cAt the Edge of the World\u201d) under EMI\/UNIVERSAL. In the fall of that year, they introduced a new singer, Alessandra Rasimovic, with the song and video \u201cAnadromika\u201d (\u201cRetroactively\u201d).
